We have had an absolutely amazing 2009 and I feel honoured to have been able to photograph so many great weddings. We have put together a slide show showcasing the best of 2009 by CG Weddings. Enjoy!

The wedding of Charlotte & Mark took place at the fantastically grand Crewe Hall on the 20th December 2009. The beautiful bride Charlotte looked like a winter princess in her long hooded gown - a real head turner for her guests as she made her way down the aisle towards a beaming Mark.
In Crewe Hall Charlotte and Mark could not have picked a better venue to host a festive wedding - Decked halls, oak paneled rooms, hand painted wallpaper, roaring marble fireplaces, ornate plasterwork, carved wood and stained glass windows all lit with Christmas lights and a warm glow of the low lighting.
A great couple to photograph and what a lovely day to be a part of.
December the 30th saw me at the stunning fairy-tale setting that is Peckforton Castle, nestled in the beautiful Cheshire countryside. As a wedding photographer this is the kind of place I like to shoot in, it really is the stuff of fairy tales - and what better place to hold a winter wedding. Huge open spaces, insanely high ceilings, candle lit corridors, grand fireplaces crackling and glowing in the low light of this fantastic place.
Every castle needs a prince and princess and what better couple to fulfil this role than Jackie & Dan. A great couple to photograph and a very infectious laugh in Jackie!
Thanks for letting me be a part of your fairy-tale wedding, you were a fab couple to photograph and I wish you all the very best for your future together as husband and wife.
Highlights below - a slideshow will also be posted soon so check back in the next few days!
To Liam & Alexandra,
Thank you for capturing our magical, dream fairytale wedding so beautifully. We knew from the moment we met that you would be able to provide the most perfect shots. We would also like to thank Alexandra for al her hard work, and patience with us with the 'post wedding' work that went into producing our final images and album. It was well worth the wait, and certainly something we will treasure forever. We can never thank you both enough. We've thoroughly enjoyed working with you, and will definately be passing your details on! We both fell honoured to be the ones you've chosen for your studio wall, it really means alot to us, We hope to ask you to photograph our future children too!
All the best,
Tracey & Rob xx
Happy new year to you all! We have some fantastic weddings to look forward to this year but although weddings are my life and number one priority I actually came from a landscape background and I thought it would be nice to share a few recent images with you. I was lucky enough to spend part of my Christmas holiday with my wife up on the beautiful coast of Northhumberland near Warkworth and Bamburgh castle and I couldn't resist getting my camera out to capture some of the freakiest weather the area has seen in over 20 years! I've never seen snow like it before and what better way to start the new year than a 7.30am walk on a snowy Warkworth beach with my wife and my dogs and not another soul around! Snowy sand dunes as well! a photographers dream.
Pics below, enjoy!
We've just got back from a lovely weekend in France for Bee's little twin brother's 8th Birthday. Whilst we were there I just couldn't resist taking a few snaps. Here are a few of my faves ....
